It was a normal monday and Sophia and me went to my house after school. We were doing are three comments and Lala ( Ale ) Lulu ( Lucia ) came over. We didn't know what to do so Lulu showed us a video about this four guys building stuff with dominos, a piano, a t.v, etc ( we so the video during science lab ) at the end SPLASH goes the paint on them. We got the idea of doing something similar and Lucia told us she had to do something like this during school.

We grabbed all the dominos I had ( three boxes ) we put them all together in a zigzag way and then a ball went behind my bed and hit the other dominos, there were to paths and then they got together. The dominos keep on falling because, Sophia dropped one and then the rest did ( that happened two times ), then I did that again two more times, so it was four times in total. Ale got mad with us because, we had go so far and then we dropped it!!! We were trying to turn on a light then pour water on a cup and then try to move a game so it can open. Non of those worked, because we had to hurry up since they had to go home for dinner, homework and some baths. We are going to do it again but, with more time and start before!!!

Scenes the first day I meet Sophia we were becoming good friends. Every time we have fights after five minutes were friends again. It is really fun to have your best friend live next door, you can study together and play all day. If I need help I know she’s always going to be there for me. We love to dance, play soccer, jump on the trampoline, have makeovers, and lots of other stuff. We spend so much time together that it seems we can’t do stuff without being together.

We make up nicknames for all of us. I have a lot but, the one that they use more is Augerdoger, Aug or Augi. We called Sophie, Yuyer or Yuyu ( only me ), Ale is Lala and Lucia is Lulu. They are very important people that I’m never going to forget when I leave Guatemala.

When I told my friends Valerie and Sophia, if they could come over to my house so we could study forn the math and estudios sociales test. After, that I had the idea of inviting them for a sleepover, my mom said yes and their moms, too.

We arrived to my house had a snack and started studying for the estudios sociales test. We finished like at 5:00, we played different games in the trampoline. After that, we studied for the math test.

When it was the night we got hyper!!! After a while we calm down, it was 9:30. At 10:30 or 11:00 we went to bed and fell asleep so easily. We got up really fast in the morning. It was a really fun day!!!!!!!!!!

It was a normal saturday and I just came back from my dance practice, my parents went to see if the cars tires weren’t missing air inside of it. They came back and my dad told me if I could help him take some tacos out of car, (he had brought them for dinner ). I didn’t want to go all the way downstairs . I ended up going, and right when I got to the garage a huge surprise was there...

It was my great grandmother ( dad’s grandma) she is 87, she just turned on the 15 of may. I started jumping and smiling a lot. She was the first person from my family to come and visit us in Guatemala. My mom video tipe that because, my grandparents wanted to see what we looked like, I started crying a little. She is staying until the 29 of june.

We have had a really good time so far. I hope it continues and that another person from my family can come and visit us, too!!!!!

" YESSS!!!" I shouted,  we're going to live to another place." Hi, I'm Nicole Gonzales, I'm ten years old and now we're going to live to another place for our fourth time, and I'm so excited," I introduced myself to the lady in the plane. "You know my life is on a plane every three years and a half, this time we're going to live in Guatemala." The lady looked at me in a funny and weird looking face, I told her I was sorry because, I didn't know her and I started talking to her. She respond to me like this " It's ok darling," I was glad she wasn't mad at me. That lady knows all about my life now, but she doesn't know something, do you want to know? I'll tell you but, you can't tell anyone... I HAVE SUPER POWERS!!!

We arrived to Guatemala with a giant smile up to our eyes. I started asking when will we arrive to our new house. When we finally arrived , I got really nervous. I was nervous of going to school, in the next two days.

It was the next day and I was helping my parent take everything out of the boxes. When I finished helping them I went to see what was my sister doing outside, she was riding her bike. I went grabbed my bike and started playing with her.

It was the first day of school and both of us were really nervous and excited. When I arrived most kids looked at me and talked about me . I started using my super powers by accident, I had turn white and I started jumping like a frog, so kids looked at me really weirdly. I arrived home and explained everything to my parents. I'm a really good girl so I gaved school another chance.

Next day in the very sunny morning I jumped out of bed and got dressed as fast as rain can touch the ground. I was absolutely ready to jump in the car and head to head to school. When we arrived, I started talking to some girls that are in my class. The girls said bye and whipped their hair in my face and left. I started getting really red as a tomato after those girls left. I was moving like a hamster and wanted to use my superpowers!!! I couldn't wait so... BAMM went this mean girls hair, it had catch on fire. I felt bad but good at the same time.

I got back from school and told my parents what had happen during school. My parents told me in a really calm way " problems are not always solve with powers, if you want those girls to stop bothering you, you need to defend yourself."

Days past and people kept on bothering me , I tried and tried to defend myself but, it was impossible until...

One day I got really mad and was tired of people telling me what to do and bothering me so, when the mean girls were starting to bother me because, I had never defend myself and just stayed there, finally I stood up for myself and for all the persons that had my same problem. " if you're coming here to bother me please leave because, I don't want to know any of the things you want to tell me. Stop bothering everyone." I shouted to the mean girls. Everyone stayed with their mouths wide open because, no one had stand up for themselves and no one ever spoke like that to them.

I came back from school and told my parents what had happen today, they were so proud of me they gave me one hundred dollars. So next day everyone invited me to go with them and to be their friends. The mean girls camed and said sorry to me, and I told them, I accepted but, that I didn't want them to bother me again.

At the end I made lots of friends and the mean girls turned nice. The bad thing is that I have to move to another place. I was really sad but, my parents said we could come and visit them once in awhile.

Dance is my first favorite thing to do. I like to dance Jazz and Tap. The one that I most like is Jazz because, I have dance it for four years and because, I’m better at it than I am at Tap. I started dancing Tap this year because, my friends from Mexico all danced Tap and I couldn’t since it was too expensive.I started like in it a lot and I’m getting good at it.

Jazz is a really fun dance because, it’s sort of like ballet but, it doesn’t have classic music. You need to be really flexible. I’m really flexible. When I started dancing in Unlimited Dance Academy here in Guatemala, I started in the lowest level then I went up one level and after that I was moved up two more levels. I was really proud of myself!!!

Tap is mostly about using your feet and there’s different steps. It looks really hard, but when you start learning it, it’s not that hard. I enjoy it a lot because, the teacher helps all of us, she started teaching us Tap in a really nice way sometimes she gets mad. Mostly all the time she is in a good mood, she gives us prices if we do something right or if we are dedicating a lot of time and improving really fast. I LOVE TO DANCE AND I’M ALWAYS GOING TO!!!

Soccer is my favorite sport!!! I play soccer almost everyday. I have soccer in school on Mondays and Wednesday, I also play with my neighbors. I like playing defense because, you can help the golly and I´m getting really good at it.  I love when my team and me have soccer games,  because, that´s what I most like about playing soccer. I have soccer games almost every week. My best friend Sophia and me are always invited to all the soccer games.

I have start playing soccer just this year (10 years old), I started playing
thanks to my dad, my friends in school and the one that most inspire me  were my three neighbors, Alexandra, Sophia and Lucia. I saw they played everyday and then Sophia got in soccer practice in our school and she told me it was really fun and that I should go. I said yes, after that I loved playing soccer!!!

One of my favorite places I have visit is San Francisco. I really liked San Francisco a lot because, on that trip my family and me went with some friends and it was really fun. There were so many things to do, like going to visit the Alcatraz Island, going to the bridge called Golden Gate, the Lombard street, Sausalito, and so many other things. We only stayed for two or three days but we got to do most of those things.

The things we did were going to the Alcatraz Island, which was my favorite thing we did on that trip. It was my favorite thing because, you could actually see where the prisoners stayed and the hole a prisoner did just to escape from the prison. Another thing we did was going to the bridge called Golden Gate, and we took some fabulous photos. We went to Sausalito, it was a like a little town. There was a street that was like a zigzag that was called Lombard. There were seven houses that were exactly the same, they were gorgeous. Those were the only things we did on this beautiful trip!!!!!!

Here's a travel guide for San Francisco...

During my Spring Break I stayed in Guatemala because, my dad had a surgery on a saturday morning. He is ok now, it only hurts a little and that’s it. He can drive but, he doesn’t do it because, sometimes it hurts a little. I played with my neighbor and best friend Sophia and her sisters too. We did lot’s of things, and even had a sleepover. They had some friends for only one night and they were going back to their houses. They are really nice. That family has a girl named Sonia that’s six or seven years old and a boy named Reece that’s almost my age,  I’m  ten and he is eleven.

During all that time we made different things. Two days I went to see a movie with my sister and my mom. One day I made a fantastic mango with a special delicious cream ice cream with my three neighbors. It was the BEST in the entire world!!! Wednesday morning we started thinking what else could we do. We thought to go to Paseo Cayala to go and try out the new canopy and the other games it has. The last day of the spring break we went to my club, it was really fun but there was a problem. The problem was that the club was closed but we could go and swim, play soccer and we ordered a pizza from Pizza Hut.

This was one of the best and funniest spring breaks I have had. I’m always going to remember it since I enjoyed it a lot. Next time I hope I can go somewhere with my three neighbors, Ale, Lucia and Sophia.

Hugo Cabret is a book about a boy that’s 11 years old and he lives in a train station in Paris, France. This book is full of adventures. It helps you learn that you could do many things without nobody’s help. You should never give up. At the end your worst enemy ( the old man ) can be your friend. It made me feel good and happy. I think it’s a really good book for people that don’t like to read that much because, almost all the book is full of pictures but, it’s better than the movie since it has lot’s of details. At the beginning of the book there’s lot’s of pictures and it helps you understand what’s going to happen.

Some of the adventures were... when a really old man that moved the clocks gears died Hugo, an orphan kid, needed to do that work. People new the old man died but, they thought “How does it work if the man died?” Another adventure is when Hugo saw a girl named Isabelle. He wanted his notebook, that an old man took from him because, he was stealing some things he needed to work on the automaton.

I have a connection when I was eight years old I had a really hard homework that I needed to build a animal with clay. I needed some stuff so I told my mom to please go and buy white and black clay to do a penguin. So, she went and I started building it but, it was really hard but, I didn;t give up. At the end I made it and got a good grade.

That’s way Hugo Cabret is my favorite character in this book. He helped me keep on going and never give up. I also liked how he didn’t care about what others think about him he keeped on building the automaton.

I recommend this book for people that like adventures and mysteries. It looks really long but, you should pick that book up start reading it and then you would not want to stop. This is a book for 9 years old and above. This book is AWESOME!!!
